Question by khalojamal: Is it good business practice to send brochures with my sold items?
Hi and thank you for reading this

I sell products on the Internet, mostly to countries abroad, where I can do no offline marketing. I am considering sending 5 brochures with each item I sell, and ask the buyer to give them to their friends and family.

Would you recommend this or not? Why?

offline marketing through your online customers is not a bad idea.
word of mouth is the best generated sales leads you can have.
If you have the resources, go for it!
Sending brochures with your sold items only says that you have more good quality items besides the ones purchased What the hell is wrong with that?
marketing is all about promotion, promotion, promotion

What is more important: sales and marketing, or the actual product being sold?

Question by Billy R: What is more important: sales and marketing, or the actual product being sold?
I know people in my line of work who are far more concerned with sales, marketing, and networking than the actual product that they put out. I, myself, am much more concerned with the product.

Are they onto something? Do I need to worry more about marketing aspects like they do?

For the long term, the PRODUCT must be solid,
You can sell whatever you want, even sell a nonexistent "product" and for a very short time get away with it. HOWEVER, for long term customer satisfaction and the GOOD NAME of your enterprise, the PRODUCT must be solid!

What are the most profitable item(s) sold on-line by small business?

Question by rico: What are the most profitable item(s) sold on-line by small business?
I am wanting to start a Home Based business.

I would like to know where the Home Based Business market is likely to head in the up coming future. What categories are the likely to be the "must have".

In addition, I would prefer to sell on-line via an on-line store front. I also prefer not to have to keep an inventory, utilizing e-commerce.
